Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Forge Logger, the game logging, telemetry, and in-game bug-reporting platform operated by StoneForge Labs, s.r.o. ("Forge Logger", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Forge Logger, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with us and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. The service

Forge Logger lets you ingest, store, search, and analyse events, sessions, builds, logs, attachments, and bug reports from your games and applications, and integrate them with third-party tools. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for the actions of users you invite to your workspace. Notify us promptly at support@forgelogger.dev if you suspect any unauthorised use.

4. Plans, billing, and renewals

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Cancelling stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the current period.
  • We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.

5. Usage limits and fair use

Each plan includes limits, such as the number of reports and events you may ingest per month. We may apply rate-limiting and quota enforcement to protect the service. If you exceed your plan's limits, some functionality may be restricted until you upgrade or the next billing period begins.

6. Your data and content

You retain all rights to the data and content you submit to Forge Logger ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and consents for any personal data contained in Your Content, and for complying with applicable data protection laws in your role as its controller.

7. Feedback forms and player data

Feedback forms let you collect answers from the players of your games — and, with their separate consent, a contact (e-mail address or Steam profile) and an entry into a raffle you organise. For that data you are the controller and we are your processor under section 8. When you use feedback forms, you agree that:

  • you provide a privacy policy for your players (the form cannot ask for a contact or run a raffle without one), keep it reachable, and tell players there what you do with their data, including after you export it;
  • you use a shared contact only for what the player agreed to — getting in touch about your game, or the raffle they entered — and ask separately before sending them, for example, a newsletter;
  • you answer players' requests to access, correct or delete their data and to withdraw a consent. The dashboard lets you find a player's responses by the contact they shared, download them, and delete the contact or the whole response; if a player turns to us instead, we forward the request to you;
  • contacts you export are your responsibility from then on — keep them secure and delete them when you no longer need them;
  • you mark a game directed at children as such. Its forms then cannot collect contacts or run a raffle; do not use feedback forms to collect personal data of children in any other way;
  • you are the organiser of any raffle: you set and honour its rules, require no purchase, do not tie entries to a store review or to a rating, and comply with the laws that apply to prize draws where your players live.

8. Data processing terms for player data

This section is the data processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR for personal data of players that we process on your behalf through feedback forms. It applies for as long as you use feedback forms and until that data is deleted.

  • Subject matter, nature and purpose. Hosting the forms, receiving, storing, displaying, exporting and deleting the responses, and supporting raffles you organise — only to provide the service to you.
  • Personal data and data subjects. Players and visitors of your feedback forms: their answers, optional contact (e-mail address or Steam profile), consent records, page language, the link and campaign tags they came through, game session and build identifiers, and — transiently, for abuse protection — their IP address.
  • Your instructions.The form settings (questions, contact retention, "game for children") and the actions you take in the dashboard are your documented instructions. We process the data only on them, unless the law requires otherwise, in which case we tell you first unless the law forbids it.
  • Confidentiality and security. Everyone with access is bound by confidentiality. Contacts are encrypted at rest with keys held in Google Cloud KMS, all traffic uses TLS, access is restricted by role (only owners and editors can export contacts), and exports and deletions are recorded in an audit log you can see.
  • Sub-processors. You authorise the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy. We bind them to the same data protection obligations, announce changes by updating that list, and you may object to a change by contacting us before it takes effect.
  • Assistance.We help you answer players' requests — primarily through the dashboard tools above — and, to a reasonable extent, with your security, breach-notification and impact-assessment obligations.
  • Retention and deletion. Contacts are deleted automatically after the retention you set (by default 90 days after the form closes), at the latest 30 days after a raffle draw and no later than 12 months after submission. All responses are deleted when you delete the form, the project or your account, subject to short-term backup retention.
  • Personal data breaches. We notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a breach affecting this data.
  • Demonstrating compliance. We make available the information needed to demonstrate compliance with this section and allow for and contribute to audits, primarily by answering a written questionnaire, with reasonable notice.
  • Transfers.Where a sub-processor processes the data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard recognised by the GDPR.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Forge Logger to:

  • violate any law or infringe the rights of others;
  • upload malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other accounts;
  • disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service beyond what is permitted by law;
  • resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted.

10. Third-party integrations

Forge Logger can connect to third-party services (such as issue trackers and chat platforms). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or behaviour.

11. Intellectual property

Forge Logger, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by StoneForge Labs and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other intellectual property except the limited right to use the service.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practical.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the service in a way that harms us or others. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or meet your specific requirements.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge Logger and StoneForge Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or revenue. Our total liability arising from or related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts of the Czech Republic will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
